Bamboo absorbs CO2 as it grows and stores it in the material. The figure shown is the amount of CO2 captured per cubic metre of MOSO® bamboo, calculated over the full production process according to the EN 16449 standard.
This summer house in Iceland was designed by the owner himself and he chose a robust, natural bamboo deck. Bamboo was also used for the outdoor shower cabin. Of course, the view is the first thing that catches the eye from the beautiful bamboo deck of this idyllic summer house.
