Babbet Duijkers of Studio Babbet expanded the first floor of her own home, creating a warm and sustainable living space. Every detail of the interior design is biobased, from the flooring and curtains to the bamboo wall covering. These renewable materials not only minimise environmental impact, but also foster a natural and comfortable indoor climate.

For Babbet, sustainability is never an afterthought; it is the foundation of all her designs. By seamlessly combining aesthetics, functionality, and a healthy living environment, her work embodies conscious design. This vision earned Studio Babbet a nomination for the 2025 HOOG.design Awards in the category Finest Sustainable Design. MOSO ® Bamboo was used for the cladding, wall covering, and furniture pieces, including in the striking new bathroom.
